DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet individual and team sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, referrals, and networking within the construction and real estate sectors.
- Conduct site visits, client meetings, and product demonstrations to showcase company offerings.
- Prepare and present competitive proposals, quotations, and contracts to prospective clients.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential clients, contractors, developers, and real estate stakeholders.
- Act as the key point of contact between the company and customers before, during, and after the sales process.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain an updated client database with follow-ups, interactions, and sales activities.
Digital & Social Media Marketing
- Plan and execute effective digital marketing campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Ads.
- Create engaging content and promotional materials tailored to the construction and real estate market.
- Monitor performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) and optimize campaigns accordingly.
- Stay updated with current trends in digital marketing and construction market behavior.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and competitor activities to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Gather and report insights on customer preferences, product demand, and new opportunities.
- Use data to support decision-making in promotional strategies and product positioning.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Maintain accurate and timely sales reports, including daily calls, client visits, closed deals, and pending follow-ups.
- Provide weekly and monthly performance updates to the management team.
- Track progress against KPIs and actively work towards exceeding set goals.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–3 years’ experience in a sales and marketing role, preferably within the construction or related industry
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong proficiency in social media marketing and digital tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Self-driven, confident, and able to work under minimal supervision
- Must be proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented
Salary: Ksh. 25,000 - Ksh. 35,000
