Job Description
- Achieve Sales Targets: Set and meet B2B boiler sales/conversion goals and quotas consistently, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Lead Generation & Sales Activities: Generate high-quality sales leads, follow up postinitial contact, secure and renew orders, negotiate prices, close sales, and coordinate delivery of services.
- Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations to explain the company\'s products and services effectively to customers and stakeholders.
- Customer Consultation: Discuss customer needs, system requirements, and provide tailored solutions in collaboration with engineers and technical teams.
- Customer Acquisition: Acquire new customers by outperforming competitors, identifying emerging opportunities, and expanding the customer base nationwide.
- Marketing Strategy Development: Design and implement effective marketing strategies for briquettes and related products across the country to maximize market penetration.
- Feedback & Data Analysis: Collect client feedback, analyze data, and leverage insights to create targeted sales and marketing strategies.
- Identify Improvement Areas: Recognize areas for process or performance improvements and communicate these issues along with practical solutions to management and clients.
- Team Leadership & Training: Form, mentor, and train sales team members on technical sales, product knowledge, and customer service to enhance team effectiveness.
- Preparation of Reports: Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports to the management for deliberation and review in accordance with set criteria and guidelines.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other roles or tasks as assigned by the immediate manager from time to time to support organizational goals.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or professional certification in Marketing (e.g., CIM) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales and marketing, preferably in B2B environments.
- Proven track record in technical sales, industrial products, or energy-related solutions is highly desirable.
- Experience in leading and managing sales or marketing teams.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, customer acquisition strategies, and market analysis.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prepare and deliver technical product presentations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital marketing platforms.
- Strong leadership, training, and team-building capabilities.
- Must have a valid driving license and be willing to travel frequently for field visits.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict sales targets.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer focus.
- Strong problem-solving ability and decision-making skills
Salary: Ksh. 150,000 - Ksh. 200,000
