Description:

Salient Engineering Contracting LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Quantity Surveyor to become part of their professional team in Abu Dhabi. This role offers an excellent opportunity for quantity surveying professionals who are eager to contribute to high-quality engineering and construction projects within a well-established contracting organization.

Job Overview
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing cost-related aspects of construction projects, ensuring financial accuracy, contract compliance, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare, control, and monitor project budgets, detailed cost estimates, and financial statements
  2. Carry out quantity take-offs and develop accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
  3. Review and assess subcontractor quotations, variations, and interim payment claims
  4. Track project expenditures and ensure adherence to contractual terms and conditions
  5. Support tendering processes, procurement activities, and comprehensive cost analysis
  6. Work closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients to ensure commercial compliance
  7. Maintain organized records for project documentation, variations, change orders, and official correspondence
  8. Assist in the preparation of monthly progress valuations and final accounts

Candidate Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
  2. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and quantity take-off software; familiarity with AutoCAD is an added advantage
  3. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet strict deadlines
  4. Prior UAE experience is preferred
  5. Candidates must currently be based in the UAE and open to relocation within Abu Dhabi
