We are a leading company in the flexible packaging industry, seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger Management: Ensure accuracy of all ledger accounts, maintain fixed asset registers, reconcile loans, depreciation schedules, and forex gains/losses, and reconcile statutory tax ledgers.
- Monthly & Annual Close: Support timely and accurate monthly and annual financial close processes, including preparation of management accounts.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Conduct expense monitoring, profitability and variance analysis, and prepare insightful financial reports to support decision-making.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and providing actionable recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and leverage technology for efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, EHS standards, and Food Safety Management Systems.
- Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Key Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA) preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting
- Proficiency in SAP Business One (SAP B1) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a compliance mindset
- Experience in manufacturing or FMCG is an advantage
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
