Description:
We are urgently hiring a skilled and detail-focused Accountant to join our team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with solid accounting knowledge and hands-on UAE experience who are currently residing in the country and ready to take on responsibilities in a fast-paced business environment. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring compliance with UAE financial and regulatory standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely recording of daily financial transactions
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections, and follow-ups
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Perform regular bank, cash, and general ledger reconciliations
• Assist with VAT filings, audit preparation, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Monitor expenses and support effective cost control practices
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation in line with company policies
• Process employee payroll through WPS (Wage Protection System) in compliance with UAE laws
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors whenever required

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of proven accounting experience
• Prior UAE accounting experience is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and accuracy skills
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tasks
• Candidates must currently be based in the United Arab Emirates
