HIRING – JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT | DUBAI

Gateway Gulf Group is currently looking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its Finance team based in Dubai. This role is well-suited for professionals with solid accounting fundamentals and hands-on experience in UAE-based organizations, preferably within the transport or logistics sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and smooth month-end and audit processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and update the general ledger, including posting journal entries
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure alignment with company financial records
• Assist in the preparation of tax-related documentation and filings
• Organize and maintain accounting records to support internal and external audits
• Support month-end closing activities and assist in preparing financial reports

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 3 years of UAE experience working as a Junior Accountant
• Prior experience in the transport or logistics industry is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related discipline
