Description:

Qlabs Clinical Laboratory is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join its growing healthcare diagnostics team in Dubai. This role requires a strong background in healthcare accounting, with a clear preference for candidates who have worked in clinical laboratories or diagnostic centers. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations and oversee month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare accurate financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports
• Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations and healthcare-related financial requirements
• Handle audits, account reconciliations, and maintain strong internal control processes
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial forecasts to support business planning
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and internal departments as required
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support senior management and leadership

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• At least 3 to 5 years of accounting experience within the healthcare industry
• Prior experience in a clinical laboratory or diagnostic center is strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT, statutory regulations, and compliance standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong analytical abilities, communication skills, and leadership qualities
