We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial health of our multi-brand automotive service center. Our workshop specializes in American , German , and Japanese vehicles. The ideal candidate will handle everything from daily bookkeeping and spare parts inventory valuation to VAT filing and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts using Softwires.
• Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Manage Accounts Payable (suppliers) and Accounts Receivable (corporate fleets and individual customers).

2. Workshop & Inventory Management

• Reconcile daily job cards with invoices to ensure all labor and parts are billed correctly.
• Monitor inventory levels for spare parts across various brands (German, American, Japanese).

3. UAE Compliance & VAT

• Ensure full compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
• Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns.
• Maintain proper documentation for all taxable supplies and purchases.

4. Payroll & Operations

• Process monthly staff salaries via the Wages Protection System (WPS).
• Handle petty cash for daily workshop operational expenses.
• Coordinate with banks for reconciliation and credit card payment processing.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 4–10 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably within an automotive workshop or spare parts trading company.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (CPA/ACCA is a plus).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in UAE VAT laws and FTA portal filing.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with service advisors and suppliers.
