AXL Cargo Solution FZCO, a fast-growing logistics and freight forwarding company based in Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA), is looking for a results-oriented DG Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a DG (Dangerous Goods) Operations Specialist at AXL Cargo Solution FZCO in Dubai. The DG Operations Specialist will be responsible for handling dangerous goods, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities :
* Establish and manage the Dangerous Goods Department.
* Ensure safe handling, storage, and transportation of dangerous goods.
* Maintain compliance with UAE and international regulations (IATA, IMDG, ADR, etc.).
* Coordinate customs clearance for dangerous goods shipments.
* Develop departmental processes, procedures, and best practices.
* Train and guide staff on handling and compliance procedures.
* Collaborate with Operations, clients, authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflows.
Requirements :
- Minimum 3 years of UAE experience handling dangerous goods shipments.
- Relevant DG certifications (IATA DGR, IMDG, ADR, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of UAE and international dangerous goods regulations.
- Experience in developing processes and managing a team.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be based in UAE and available for immediate joining.
