Royal Gas is currently hiring an experienced Software Engineer / Developer to join its technical team in Abu Dhabi. This role is suited for a highly skilled professional with strong hands-on experience in modern web and mobile application development, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems. Candidates must currently be based in the UAE and be capable of working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive web applications, single-page applications, and mobile applications
• Customize, enhance, and support CRM systems to meet evolving business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and occasionally travel to the Dubai office to gather software requirements
• Develop backend services using Java, Node.js, Angular, React, and React Native
• Deploy, manage, and maintain applications on Linux servers and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Work with WordPress and Elementor for website development and content management solutions
• Use Git repositories for version control and collaborative development
• Apply best practices in software engineering, security, session management, and performance optimization
• Develop and maintain relational databases using SQL, JPA, and Hibernate
• Conduct testing using test-driven development methodologies to ensure reliable and maintainable code
• Integrate AI technologies such as machine learning models, natural language processing, and recommendation engines into applications
• Manage mobile application deployment for iOS and Android platforms, including updates and releases
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot system, network, and server-related issues
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and software designs for internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Software Engineer or Developer, including UAE experience
• Strong programming skills with in-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Angular, React, or React Native frameworks
• Proficiency in software engineering tools and ORM technologies
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Ability to manage Linux servers and perform server administration tasks
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly to new technologies
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Experience with AI or ML integrations and cloud-based AI services is an added advantage
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
