Description:
We are currently hiring a Site Engineer (Electrical – Lighting & Small Power) to strengthen our active project teams across the UAE. This role is ideal for professionals with solid on-site experience in lighting and small power systems who are comfortable working in fast-paced construction environments and managing day-to-day electrical site activities.

The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical installations, coordinating with multiple disciplines on-site, and ensuring all works are executed in line with approved drawings, project schedules, and UAE authority standards.

Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and supervise lighting and small power installation works in accordance with approved drawings and project timelines
• Review IFC drawings, technical specifications, and relevant authority requirements
• Coordinate installation of lighting fixtures, switches, socket outlets, distribution boards, conduits, trunking, cable trays, and wiring systems
• Plan daily and weekly site activities, manage manpower allocation, and monitor productivity
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, HVAC, fire alarm, and ELV teams to resolve site clashes
• Ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, method statements, QA/QC procedures, and HSE requirements
• Supervise cable pulling, termination, glanding, dressing, and labeling activities
• Assist in testing and commissioning, snag clearance, and final project handover
• Prepare as-built drawings and maintain accurate red-line markups

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• 3–7 years of relevant site experience in lighting and small power works
• Exposure to commercial, residential, infrastructure, or utility projects is preferred

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of lighting and small power installation practices
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with UAE/GCC authority standards such as DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, etc.
• Good understanding of QA/QC procedures and HSE regulations
• Strong coordination, communication, and team management skills
