Description:
We are currently hiring an experienced SQL Consultant / SQL Developer for a long-term engagement based in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong SQL development expertise and hands-on experience working with complex data environments. Candidates who are available immediately or within a short notice period of up to 30 days are highly preferred.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining ETL and ELT pipelines that handle both structured and unstructured data. The role involves integrating data from multiple sources such as databases, APIs, and cloud storage platforms while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security at all stages.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining efficient data pipelines
• Integrating and consolidating data from diverse data sources
• Cleaning, validating, and transforming data to support analytics and reporting
• Developing and optimizing data models for business intelligence use cases
• Applying best practices in data warehousing and data lake architecture
• Monitoring pipeline performance and improving scalability and reliability
• Implementing data partitioning, indexing, and caching strategies
• Supporting business teams by ensuring data availability and resolving data-related issues
• Maintaining clear documentation of data sources, workflows, and processes
• Creating scripts or automated workflows for data extraction and reporting
• Developing program views, functions, and stored procedures as required

The ideal candidate should be well-versed in SQL and have working knowledge of Python, data mining, data analysis, and data visualization techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are essential for success in this role.
