Job Description
Operations Management
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service delivery
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
- Monitor stock levels, control costs, and minimize wastage
- Ensure all operational procedures and SOPs are consistently followed
- Team Leadership & People Management
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise restaurant staff
- Foster a positive, high-performance work culture
- Manage staff performance, attendance, and discipline
- Address staff turnover through coaching, engagement, and development
- Customer Experience & Service Excellence
- Ensure high standards of customer service at all times
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally
- Drive repeat business through exceptional guest experiences
- Sales, Performance & Reporting
- Drive revenue growth through upselling, promotions, and operational efficiency
- Monitor daily sales, labor costs, and profitability
- Prepare operational and performance reports for management
- Compliance & Standards
- Ensure adherence to company policies, health regulations, and licensing requirements
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and brand standards across the restaurant
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a busy restaurant environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage high staff turnover
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, cost control, and customer service
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
