Description:
We are urgently seeking a committed HSE Officer to strengthen our safety team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will help implement and maintain health, safety and environmental systems across project sites, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role is especially focused on projects within construction, fabrication, commissioning and oil & gas environments and requires someone who can proactively identify risks and drive corrective actions.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct routine site inspections and HSE audits to ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and recommend control measures.
• Support incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and preparation of corrective action plans.
• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and HSE training to site personnel and subcontractors.
• Monitor compliance with permits, PPE use, work-at-height, confined space and other critical procedures.
• Maintain HSE records, prepare reports, and liaise with project teams to implement improvements.
• Assist in emergency preparedness and drills, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders during incidents.

Preferred skills and attributes:

• Proven 3–5 years’ experience in HSE roles within construction, fabrication, commissioning or oil & gas sectors.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and industry best practices.
• Good communication, observation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work on-site, engage with multi-disciplinary teams and enforce standards consistently.
