The Marketing Intern will play a key role in supporting the Marketing & Partnerships Manager and the Marketing Associate in driving WYLDE International’s marketing, communication, and partnership initiatives. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented, and creative individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced environment. The intern will gain hands-on experience across content creation, campaign execution, partnership coordination, and event support.
Marketing Support & Content Creation
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Draft compelling content for social media, the website, newsletters, and email marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather stories, insights, and content ideas that showcase WYLDE’s impact.
- Manage day-to-day activities across WYLDE’s social media platforms, including posting, responding to comments, and tracking engagement.
- Draft, proofread, and schedule email marketing campaigns using approved templates and tools.
- Support the development of marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, posters, infographics, and case studies.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and audience preferences.
Partnerships Support
- Research and identify potential partners aligned with WYLDE’s mission, programs, and strategic goals.
- Assist in preparing partnership proposals, pitch decks, briefs, and agreements.
- Maintain and update the partnership database, ensuring accurate tracking of outreach, engagements, and follow-up actions.
- Support coordination of partnership meetings by scheduling, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes and next steps.
Event Coordination
- Assist in planning and delivering events, webinars, masterclasses, training sessions, and workshops with internal teams and strategic partners.
- Coordinate event logistics such as venue booking, equipment setup, registration management, attendee follow-up, and post-event reporting.
- Ensure effective communication with participants, partners, and stakeholders before, during, and after events.
- Support the development of event reports, impact summaries, and engagement analytics.
Administrative Support
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of marketing materials, requesting restocking when necessary.
- Track, document, and report on marketing and partnership activities, providing timely updates to the Marketing & Partnerships Manager.
- Organise and maintain an accessible archive of marketing collateral, media, content resources, and partnership documentation.
- Handle internal and external correspondence related to marketing and partnership initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
- Familiarity with design tools is an added advantage.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and/or Google Workspace.
- Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship, SME support, or development programs is a plus.
