Job Description
Roles/Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to grow the bank’s customer base.
- Promote and cross-sell the bank’s products and services, including loans, deposits, and investment solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new opportunities, and competitive positioning
- Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients.
- Evaluate clients’ financial needs and provide appropriate banking solutions.
- Meet or exceed set business growth and revenue targets.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive service and effective follow-up.
- Monitor and manage client accounts to ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Credit, Operations, Risk, etc.) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
- Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, pipeline activities, and market developments.

- Continuously improve knowledge of financial products, market dynamics, and industry best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
- 2–4 years’ experience in business development, relationship management, or sales within the banking or financial sector
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business targets
- Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and risk management principles
- Understanding of banking products, lending, and financial solutions
- Strong understanding of SME, retail, or corporate banking markets
- Customer service excellence and problem-solving orientation
- Team collaboration and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software
- Strong problem-solving and evaluation skills
- Strategic thinking and market analysis capability
- Proven sales and negotiation skills
- Strong business development and client relationship management skills
