Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the hardware product portfolio across assigned territories or accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Support reps in closing complex deals, preparing proposals, and delivering product presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partners.
- Resolve escalated customer issues and provide high-level support on product inquiries and technical details.
- Ensure consistent communication, quick response times, and strong service follow-through.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales representatives in achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and identify training opportunities.
- Oversee daily sales activities, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to sales processes and company policies.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.
- Track sales KPIs and work closely with management to adjust strategies when needed.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
- Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and product teams to ensure smooth order flow and on-time delivery.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, promotional planning, and new product launches.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree/Diploma in marketing or business-related courses would be added advantage.
- Minimum of five years of successful sales experience
- Strong knowledge of hardware products, supply chain processes, and distribution channels.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and capacity to adopt fast to a new environment.
- Excellent negotiations and communication skills
- Time management and exceptional organizational skills
- Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook.
- Experience in end to end customer relationship management
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Proven interpersonal and team coordination skills
- Proven proficiency on MS-Office
Salary: Ksh. 50,000 - Ksh. 60,000
