Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the hardware product portfolio across assigned territories or accounts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Support reps in closing complex deals, preparing proposals, and delivering product presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partners.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and provide high-level support on product inquiries and technical details.
  • Ensure consistent communication, quick response times, and strong service follow-through.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales representatives in achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and identify training opportunities.
  • Oversee daily sales activities, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to sales processes and company policies.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.
  • Track sales KPIs and work closely with management to adjust strategies when needed.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
  • Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and product teams to ensure smooth order flow and on-time delivery.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, promotional planning, and new product launches.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree/Diploma in marketing or business-related courses would be added advantage.
  • Minimum of five years of successful sales experience
  • Strong knowledge of hardware products, supply chain processes, and distribution channels.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and capacity to adopt fast to a new environment.
  • Excellent negotiations and communication skills
  • Time management and exceptional organizational skills
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook.
  • Experience in end to end customer relationship management
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Proven interpersonal and team coordination skills
  • Proven proficiency on MS-Office
Salary: Ksh. 50,000 - Ksh. 60,000
