Description:

ELV Engineer — Overview

We are looking for a skilled ELV Engineer to join projects in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience delivering ELV systems for building projects, be proficient with AutoCAD, and possess strong coordination skills to manage deliveries from design through handover. A valid UAE driver’s license and familiarity with local standards are required.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

• Design, install, and support ELV systems including:
  • Structured Cabling
  • CCTV Systems
  • Access Control Systems
  • Audio/Video & Public Address Systems
  • SMATV Systems
  • Gate Barriers & Turnstile Systems
  • Environmental Monitoring Systems
• Prepare and review MCC documentation and technical drawings.
• Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings for all ELV systems and ensure drawing accuracy.
• Conduct site surveys and coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and system designs with accuracy.
• Manage ICT and ELV projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring milestones are met.
• Compile project documentation, reports, and handover files for successful project close-out.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficient in AutoCAD with experience producing ELV drawings.
• Strong understanding of the UAE market and applicable standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Valid UAE driver’s license is mandatory.
