The Business Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Foundation’s strategy is translated into clear plans, processes, and results. The role supports program delivery, manages core operations, and strengthens systems that enable the Foundation to achieve its mission in the development sector (e.g. economic empowerment, Digital skills education and climate resilience.
The Business Manager works closely with senior leadership and program teams to implement the strategic plan, monitor performance, manage risks, and ensure that resources (people, finances, systems) are used effectively and transparently.
Qualifications
Type of Qualification: First Degree
Certification in Project Management is required
Experience Required
- 5 years
- Experience supporting senior executives in a complex and fast-paced environment.
- Experience in an environment requiring diplomacy and good judgment in managing interactions inside and outside an organization, with individuals at all levels, including senior executives and other high-level officials.
- Sense of initiative, robust organizational and project management skills, ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally while remaining flexible to changing tasks, priorities, and roles and responsibilities.
- Clear and consistent communication skills, both verbal and written; bias for collaboration and partnership.
- Results oriented. Works with a sense of purpose and consistency and is able to reliably set and meet deadlines.
- People oriented, open-mindedness and eager to engage with partners, colleagues and stakeholders with whom principals interact.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management is required
