Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Full-time Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, Minimum 3 years experience within the GCC region, and a comprehensive understanding of Zoho Books accounting software. The candidate should also have an understanding of the used car industry, enabling them to effectively manage the financial aspects of our business.

Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the used car sales garage.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Zoho Books, ensuring data integrity and compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Perform reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy.

Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.

Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

Must Fully understand how to do VAT returns.)

Prepare necessary documentation for quarterly VAT returns, ensuring accurate and timely submission to regulatory authorities.

Compile, analyze, and interpret financial statements and monthly profit and loss reports, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement.

Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and ensure timely submission of required documents.

Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to labor laws.

Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets and financial forecasts.

Provide financial reports and insights to support management’s understanding of the business’s financial health.

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the used car industry’s financial dynamics and contribute to pricing strategies and cost management initiatives.

Exhibit a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently, taking ownership of financial processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CMA) is a plus.

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience within the GCC region, preferably in the automotive or used car industry.

Proficiency in using Zoho Books accounting software is essential.

Strong knowledge of local accounting regulations, VAT laws, and tax compliance within the UAE.

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data to provide meaningful insights.

High level of initiative and self-motivation to work independently and meet deadlines.

Attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping and reporting.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software.
