Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
- Plan and execute appropriate activities for the students each day according to the curriculum, schemes of work, and lesson plans
- Assist with the planning of the curriculum by providing safe, creative, and appropriate educational opportunities for all children within an inclusive environment.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified teacher with a P1 diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
- Demonstrate a strong passion for education and young children
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Team player mentality – enjoy working in teams and group problem-solving.
- The successful applicant Must be able teach a combination of these activity areas CREATIVE ARTS, CRE and SOCIAL STUDIES.
- Be conversant with Key computer applications.
- Registered by the TSC and issued with TSC Number
- CBC trained (Both JSS, Primary )
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans, while establishing and communicating clear objectives for all learning activities
- Keep updated with developments in the subject area, teaching resources, and methods, and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities
- Prepare the classroom for class activities and be able to use relevant technology to support instruction
