What You'll Do
At M-KOPA, you'll bridge strategy and execution - designing, running, and optimising digital campaigns that drive measurable customer and revenue growth. You'll partner closely with Product, Data, and Telesales teams to uncover insights, test hypotheses, and translate learnings into repeatable playbooks.

Your Core Responsibilities
- Design and execute growth experiments: Identify friction points in the customer journey and run structured tests (creative, audience, incentive, or channel) to improve acquisition, activation, and retention
- Own campaign strategy and performance: Develop cross-channel campaign plans (WhatsApp, SMS, telesales, Direct Sales Agents) aligned with growth goals. Track and analyse funnel performance to spot new opportunities
- Translate data into strategy: Interpret dashboards, segment users, and recommend next actions that maximize ROI and customer lifetime value
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Product, Telesales, and Operations to align campaign messaging, offers, and timing - ensuring experiments connect with real customer behaviour
Your Environment
Growth Marketing Tech Stack:
- Tools: CleverTap/Braze, GA4, Amplitude, Looker, or similar omnichannel engagement platforms
- Channels: WhatsApp, SMS, telesales, and integrated Direct Sales Agent networks
- Data: Proprietary customer insights spanning millions of transactions across 5 African markets
What You Need
You're a proven growth marketer who can design experiments, interpret data, and scale what works. You understand omnichannel campaigns and know how to bridge creative strategy with analytical rigour to drive measurable business outcomes.
Required Experience:
- 5–8 + years of experience in Growth, Product Marketing, or Lifecycle/Performance roles - ideally at a fintech, telco, e-commerce, or subscription company (bonus if you've worked in emerging markets or with pay-as-you-go models like M-KOPA's)
- Proven experience leading growth initiatives end-to-end (strategy → experiment → scale)
- Familiar with omnichannel engagement tools like CleverTap/Braze, GA4, Amplitude, or similar
