Job Description
- Plan International is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to lead humanitarian responses across its Country Offices. This role involves rapid deployment to crisis zones to manage emergency operations and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead emergency response operations during humanitarian crises
- Oversee delivery of high-quality programs and manage humanitarian funding
- Provide leadership to teams including technical specialists, finance, HR, logistics, media, and policy staff
- Shape and implement emergency response strategies
Candidate Profile
- Significant field experience in multiple humanitarian crises
- Expertise in disaster risk reduction and child protection in emergencies
- Proven engagement with humanitarian coordination systems at all levels
- Skilled in training, facilitation, project management, negotiation, and influencing.
- Prior experience working in the Middle East.
- Fluent in English; French, Spanish and Arabic highly desirable
- Willingness to travel extensively to high-risk areas, often at short notice
