Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team, focusing on the HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafés) channel for our alcoholic beverage clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our market presence within this sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share in the HORECA channel.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including hotels, restaurants, and cafés.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads to expand the client base.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Achieve sales targets and monitor performance metrics to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive sales of alcoholic beverage products (wines, spirits, etc.) to Hotels, Restaurants, and Bars (HORECA).
  • Identify, engage, and onboard new HORECA clients to expand the customer base.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans and strategies to meet and exceed set sales targets.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships within the HORECA sector.
  • Provide clients with product training, promotions, and tastings where applicable.

  Market Expansion & Brand Promotion

  • Launch and promote new brands or product lines in the market.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of new product introductions in client locations.
  • Ensure proper visibility and merchandising of brands at client premises.

Operational & Administrative Duties

  • Prepare and send professional quotations, order confirmations, and follow-up emails.
  • Monitor deliveries to ensure timely and complete fulfillment of client orders.
  • Manage account receivables by following up on outstanding payments.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client feedback, and market trends.
  • Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to the Sales Manager.
  • Provide insight and recommendations based on competitor activity and customer needs.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the alcoholic beverage industry.
  • Strong understanding of the HORECA channel and its dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • li>Valid driving license and willingness to travel as needed.
