Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise the general cleanliness and hygiene standards within the entire facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Ensure all staff members (pet attendants, cleaners, and gardeners) are well-groomed and in uniform at all times.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair activities within the facility, ensuring timely resolution of any issues.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the support team including cleaners, gardeners, and pet attendants to ensure high standards of performance.
  • Maintain a checklist and follow-up mechanism to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Ensure all company vehicles are properly maintained, serviced on schedule, and clean.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for repairs, supply deliveries, and other facility needs.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports to management on facility status, staff performance, and maintenance needs.
  • Monitor supply levels for facility upkeep (e.g., cleaning materials) and make requisitions as needed.
  • Enforce company policies, rules, and procedures within the facility.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or Degree in any field from a recognized institution
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a facility, hospitality, or service environment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and handle multiple responsibilities
  • Good organizational and reporting skills
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance and repairs is an added advantage
  • Passion for pets and comfort working in a pet-care environment is desirable
Salary: Kshs. 30,000
