Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in creating, curating, and scheduling content for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X/Twitter).
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement, trends, and brand mentions.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and community interactions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the development and execution of social media campaigns and promotions.
  • Assist in analyzing performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth, etc.) and creating reports.
  • Research industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging platforms.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on content planning and brand strategy.
  • Help with administrative tasks and other marketing initiatives as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in social media marketing and content creation.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Spark, CapCut).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools is a plus (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer)
