BCD Real Estate Development is seeking a Tender & Contract Engineer to join our growing development team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete tendering, estimation, and contract administration process for building and infrastructure projects.
The role demands strong commercial understanding, analytical skills, and familiarity with UAE contracting and authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Tendering & Estimation
• Review design drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare accurate tender documentation.
• Float inquiries to contractors, suppliers, and consultants; evaluate received quotations.
• Prepare tender comparison sheets and assist management in technical and commercial evaluations.
• Coordinate pre-bid meetings, clarifications, and negotiations with bidders.
• Ensure tender submissions align with project scope, budget, and compliance requirements.
Contracts Administration
• Draft, review, and finalize contracts in line with company and FIDIC standards.
• Manage contractual correspondences, variations, claims, and extensions of time.
• Maintain proper documentation and track all contract deliverables, payments, and guarantees.
• Support management in resolving contractual disputes and ensuring compliance with UAE laws.
Coordination & Reporting
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal departments for technical and commercial clarifications.
• Prepare periodic reports on tender status, contract performance, and cost control.
• Support project budgeting, cost monitoring, and value engineering initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Master’s Degree in Construction Management, Contracts, or related specialization is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of total experience, including 2 years in the UAE within a developer or contracting environment.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC, UAE construction laws, and local authority procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and cost estimation software (Bluebeam or Excel-based BOQ analysis).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:
• Experience with residential or mixed-use development projects in Dubai.
• Familiarity with Nakheel, Trakhees, and Dubai Municipality approval processes.
• Strong commercial acumen and teamwork approach.
