Job Description
  • This role will be responsible for supporting the transfer pricing service offering. The role will work closely with the Associate Director to support internal stakeholders and the tax team to ensure that our clients global transfer pricing policies are compliant with local regulations, OECD guidelines, and their corporate objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of transfer pricing and international tax advisory and compliance projects for clients operating across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring alignment with global guidelines and local tax laws.

  • Support the development, implementation, and documentation of transfer pricing policies across various jurisdictions.
  •  Advise clients and internal business units on the transfer pricing implications of cross-border transactions, intercompany pricing, restructuring, and structuring arrangements.
  • Prepare and review clients’ transfer pricing documentation to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Perform detailed transfer pricing analyses and benchmarking studies to support pricing strategies and identify risks or opportunities in client models.
  • Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and tax authorities to resolve audits, disputes, and documentation requests.
  • Provide technical support during tax audits and disputes, translating complex tax rules into practical business insights to inform client decisions.
  • Monitor global tax and transfer pricing regulatory developments and assess their impact on client operations, including publishing legal alerts where necessary.
  • Conduct research and analysis on transfer pricing legislation and related guidelines.
  • Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on transfer pricing best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Support risk management and tax planning initiatives to enhance client tax optimisation strategies.

What we are looking for

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in application of the Kenya Income Tax transfer pricing regulations, OECD Guidelines, and local tax laws across multiple jurisdictions in Africa.
  • Knowledge of international Finance and Accounting principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative, practical solutions in complex scenarios.
  • Excellent time management skills, able to remain calm and focused under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical issues clearly to both tax and non-tax audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough reviews, and exercise sound judgment on when to escalate matters.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels internally and externally.
  • Motivated team player who adapts quickly to new teams and collaborates well across functions and geographies.
