Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated MiniApps Development Engineer to join our innovative team at Safaricom Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining MiniApps that enhance our service offerings and improve user engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy MiniApps in line with project requirements and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of MiniApps.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs in new and existing apps.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the ICT industry.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3 years proven experience in software development, particularly in app development.
- Strong understanding of ICT and its applications.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
