Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Nairobi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management with a focus on design, and will be responsible for managing and overseeing all phases of the design process for our real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of design projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Ensure design projects adhere to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project team members and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Project Management, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in the design and construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of design processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
