Key Responsibilities
- Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals with routine tasks.
- Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
- Help patients with personal hygiene and daily activities such as eating, dressing, and bathing.
- Monitor patients' conditions by taking temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Support patient mobility and transport as required.
- Document and report any changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff.
Requirements
- Diploma in Healthcare, Nursing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a healthcare assistant or in a similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a compassionate nature.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle the physical demands of the job.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is an advantage.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of Swahili is a plus.
