Job Description

° You will play a key role in weaving together the efforts of our Head of Departments: F&B, Guiding, Guest Experience, Kitchen, and Housekeeping into one harmonious rhythm of guest delight. This role reports to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

° Oversee daily lodge operations, ensuring excellence and consistency across all guest touchpoints.

° Lead and support the lodge department heads, fostering collaboration and accountability.

° Monitor and improve operational systems for efficiency without losing sight of the warmth and joy of service and guest experience.

° Champion guest feedback, resolving concerns with honesty, courage, and respect.

° Partner with HR and Training to build and sustain strong, motivated teams.

° Work with the Chief Marketing Officer and Guest Experience Curator to drive the level of excellence in taking care of guests for which Angama has become known.

° Support the General Manager in long–term planning, budgeting, and strategic projects.

° Uphold Angama’s values in every decision, placing people at the heart of operations.

Key Qualifications:

° Minimum 7 years’ experience in senior lodge or hospitality management.

° Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams in high–end safari or hospitality settings.

° Strong financial and operational acumen.

° Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

° A passion for conservation, community, and creating unforgettable guest experiences
