Description:
We are hiring a Procurement Engineer to strengthen our procurement team for project executions in the UAE. If you have solid project procurement experience and are ready to manage end-to-end material supply for construction projects, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain material procurement schedules that align with project timelines and milestones.
• Liaise with project engineers and consultants to identify and confirm material requirements.
• Identify, evaluate and pre-qualify suppliers and subcontractors for project needs.
• Issue RFQs, evaluate technical and commercial bids, and recommend the most suitable vendors.
• Review material submittals to confirm compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with consultants to obtain material approvals and certifications.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery conditions with suppliers to achieve best value.
• Control procurement within budget and implement cost-saving measures where appropriate.
• Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and periodic procurement reports.
• Maintain accurate vendor databases and material tracking logs.
• Work closely with site engineers, project managers and accounts to ensure smooth material flow.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply-chain issues.
• Ensure all procured materials meet project specs, local authority requirements and applicable international standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• 5–10 years of relevant procurement experience (project-based/construction preferred).
• Proven track record in supplier sourcing, bid evaluation and contract administration.
• Familiarity with local regulations and project compliance expectations in the UAE is an advantage.
