Job Description

The organization is recruiting for a Ministry Operations Officer with relevant experience and a passion to support its administrative function.

Role Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee personnel management, development, and productivity:

  1. Personnel planning, recruitment, onboarding, tasking.
  2. Lead the work planning and execution of the diverse teams.
  3. Lead personnel performance assessments, appraisals, hiring, firing, promoting and disciplining.

Coordinate financial management and reporting:

  1. Responsible for corporate budgets and budget implementation management.
  2. Guiding and consulting country teams on financial planning, management, and reporting.
  3. Coordinating with the external outsourced accountants to ensure proper bookkeeping and accounting, and the generation of reports.
  4. Support the Resource Mobilization department in aligning and projecting of budget and resource needs to inform fundraising planning and targets.

Oversee organization projects:

  1. Lead and guide the project planning teams.
  2. Provides hands-on Project management, ensuring implementation to standard, budget, and results.
  3. Responsible for receiving and reviewing Project reporting and generating overall reports for IED and Boards. 
  4. Oversee organization and business compliance issues.
  5. Assist IED in overall organization management to achieve its mission and vision through efficient operations.

Desired Qualifications 

  1. At least 3 years in a growing organization as an Administrator or in Operations. 
  2. Directly managed winning teams in a busy environment, leading them to optimal performance and high motivation. 
  3. Experience managing business and money-making projects.
  4. Understands financial management and reporting.
  5. Experience working in a Christian ministry and non-profit environment.
  6. Diligent worker, passionate Christian, attention to detail, and hands-on leader. 

Educational Background

  1. A bachelor's business-related degree.
  2. A professional certificate in CPA, Human Resources management, or other business-related certificates.
