We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our high-performing team. The BDM will be responsible for driving growth by managing distributor and sales manager relationships, identifying new business opportunities, ensuring customer data accuracy, and delivering revenue and collections targets in their assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
Drive revenue growth in your region through new and existing distributors.
Generate leads, cold call prospects, and onboard new distributors.
Ensure distributor customer data is accurate and up to date.
Work with call center agents to meet regional collections targets.
Identify new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships.
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in existing and new distributors.
Deliver KUZA-specific training to distributors and their teams to support customer conversion.
Assist with marketing activities and timely reporting of market trends, customer feedback, and opportunities.
Contribute to management information reporting and business intelligence.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development with proven B2B or B2C customer-facing roles.
Strong background in sales & marketing, with mandatory FMCG industry experience.
Previous team leadership experience and ability to engage high-value distributors or manufacturers.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
Proactive, energetic, and solution-oriented with a “make it happen” attitude.
Strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
High integrity, professionalism, and ability to work independently.
