Duties and Responsibilities
Program Implementation & Coordination
Support the Programs Manager in executing program activities in line with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate logistics for trainings, workshops, and community outreach initiatives.
Liaise with schools, teachers, community leaders, and local partners to facilitate program activities.
Ensure effective use of facilities, materials, and resources.
Maintain strong relationships with program beneficiaries and stakeholders.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)
Assist in data collection (quantitative and qualitative) to measure program outcomes.
Ensure accurate record keeping and timely submission of field data.
Provide feedback and observations from the field to improve program effectiveness.
Support the Programs Manager in preparing progress reports and success stories.
Training & Community Engagement
Facilitate training sessions for teachers, students, and community stakeholders on themes such as menstrual health, SRH, GBV, and gender equity.
Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure knowledge transfer and application.
Assist in developing training materials and resources.
Communication & Reporting
Draft and submit timely updates and activity reports to the Programs Manager.
Support the documentation of lessons learned and best practices.
Communicate program outcomes and challenges clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
Additional Support
Provide administrative and logistical support as needed.
Contribute to special projects or fill gaps during staff absences.
Requirements
Education & Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree (or Diploma with strong experience) in Social Work, Education, Public Health, Development Studies, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in program coordination or community development, preferably with an NGO or school.
Experience working on programs related to girls’ health, empowerment, or GBV prevention is highly desirable.
