Job Description

Role Purpose:

 

Responsible for transporting guests between the hotel and designated locations while ensuring a safe, comfortable and courteous experience. The role also includes welcoming and greeting guests in the lobby, assisting with luggage, packages and correspondence and performing additional functions such as concierge support, valet service and airport representation-all while maintaining the highest standards of guest service.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):

 

Welcome and assist guests with courtesy and professionalism, including luggage handling, transportation support and addressing guest queries or concerns promptly.

 

Receive, deliver and manage guest parcels and luggage according to hotel procedures; organize the luggage room efficiently.

 

Transport guests to any destination in accordance with the Hotel standard and procedures.

 

Promptly report any incidents.

 

Follow the legal requirements to ensure safety, compliance and accountability on the road.

 

Ensure that the vehicles have valid Insurance, Inspection, TLB, MCSK and PSV stickers.

 

Maintain cleanliness and order in the lobby and entrance area; open doors for guests and act as the first point of contact.

 

Safely Park and retrieve guest vehicles, ensuring proper handling, record-keeping and adherence to valet procedures.

 

Ensure parking tickets, validations and charges are properly managed according to established standards and procedures.

 

Act as Airport Representative to greet arriving guests as required.

 

Assist with inventory as needed and monitor guest feedback, offering suggestions for improvement.

 

Stay up to date on new happenings, openings, closings, traffic situations, construction, etc. in the city that may impact the guest.

 

Schedule for servicing of the Company vehicle.

 

Follow the Employee Handbook and hotel policies related to safety, fire and health regulations.

 

Perform other assignments to meet business needs as directed by your superiors.

Experience and Qualifications:

 

Valid and clean driving license [Class B/C/E or as applicable).

 

5+ years of relevant experience as a Driver cum Bellman in a 4- or 5-star hotel preferably with an international hotel brand.
