Job Description

We are seeking a Depot Manager to oversee and manage the smooth operations of our depot, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and excellent service delivery.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in depot/warehouse/logistics management in a busy manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Strong knowledge of stock management systems, dispatch operations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Key Competencies

  • Oversee daily depot operations including production planning, warehouse management, logistics, and dispatch.
  • Supervise production schedules to meet customer demands while minimizing downtime.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of stock, dispatch, and delivery processes.
  • Implement strong stock management controls, conduct reconciliations, and prevent losses.
  • Optimize logistics, vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and delivery scheduling.
  • Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team, ensuring performance and compliance.
  • Enforce adherence to company policies, SOPs, and safety regulations.
  • Prepare operational reports and liaise with finance, sales, procurement, and logistics teams.
