DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Management
Assist in the receiving, labelling, and safe storage of all incoming goods and supplies.
Keep accurate records of stock levels, receipts, and issues using manual and/or digital systems.
Perform daily and periodic stock checks under the guidance of the Store Supervisor.
Ensure stock is arranged and stored in an organized and accessible manner.
Daily Operations
Remove and issue daily materials required for meal preparation and other school functions.
Work closely with the kitchen team to provide extra materials or ingredients as requested.
Replenish and return unused goods to the appropriate storage areas.
Ensure stock rotation to minimize waste, especially for perishable goods.
Support Duties
Assist in preparing and packaging items for issuance to various departments.
Support the Store Supervisor in preparing requisition forms, stock reports, and documentation.
Collaborate with the security team during deliveries to ensure safe unloading and proper documentation.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store and surrounding areas.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
Certification in Catering, Food Handling, or a related field
Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
At least 1 year of experience in a storekeeping or inventory management role, preferably in an institutional or educational setting
Basic knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures
Familiarity with stock handling systems and basic record-keeping
Computer literacy is an added advantage
