Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Department Development

 

Support the setup and structuring of a dedicated sales department for the new product line.

 

Define sales processes, performance standards, and reporting mechanisms.

 

2. Market Research & Analysis

 

Conduct comprehensive market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitor positioning.

 

Analyze existing client portfolios and identify prospects for the premium product line.

 

Provide management with data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.

 

3. Sales & Marketing Strategy

 

Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to penetrate the high-end automotive spare parts market.

 

Create compelling value propositions for different customer segments.

 

Design promotional campaigns and partnership models to increase visibility and sales uptake.

 

4. Client Identification & Engagement

 

Identify and build relationships with potential clients, including distributors and dealerships.

 

Strengthen relationships with existing clients transitioning to the premium product tier.

 

5. Advisory Role to Management

 

Provide regular market updates, competitor intelligence, and performance analysis.

 

Advise on pricing, distribution models, and product positioning to drive sustainable growth.

 

Requirements & Qualifications:

 

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.

 

35 years of experience in sales, business development, or market analysis (automotive/spare parts/FMCG industry preferred).

 

Proven track record of creating and executing successful sales and marketing strategies.

 

Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

 

Analytical thinker with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

 

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

 

Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability.

 

 

Salary: Ksh. 40,000
