ROLE PURPOSE
The Office Assistant/ Cleaner is reliable, detail oriented, ensuring the company offices are well maintained and organized among other roles as listed below.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the Offices and other areas under which the company operates are clean including washrooms.
Dust, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture, shelves, and other office fittings.
Replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) as required.
Emptying waste bins and taking waste materials to the designated collection points.
Make soft beverages/tea for the office staff, visitors and guests.
Ensure all utensils are clean.
Responding to inquiries from customers and visitors.
Trustworthy and undertake budget and shopping for office supplies.
Report any office machine and equipment faults, i.e tables, fridges, microwaves, and water kettles.
Assist in photocopying, binding, and filing of office documents.
Any other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Diploma/ Certificate in hospitality management or related course is a plus (but not mandatory) Must have a KCSE certificate.
At least two years of experience as an office assistant.
Must be able to maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent team player and problem-solving skills.
Quick learner.
