Job Description

As a Junior Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and enhancing our systems infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our technological solutions. Reporting directly to the Systems Lead, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, build reporting, and develop effective system solutions. Roles & Responsibilities:

 

Systems Administration:

 

Assist with the administration and maintenance of computer systems, servers, and networks.

 

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

 

Support the implementation of system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.

 

Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of technology systems.

 

Data Analysis and Reporting:

 

Support data analysis initiatives by gathering, organizing, and analyzing data sets.

 

Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present data insights.

 

Assist in data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance processes.

 

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver accurate and meaningful reports.

 

 Help Desk Support:

 

Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues.

 

Respond to user inquiries and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner.

 

Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, escalating complex issues as necessary.

 

Document support requests and resolutions for future reference.

 

Research and Innovation:

 

Stay updated with the latest technology trends and emerging tools.

 

Conduct research and provide recommendations on technology solutions and best practices.

 

Contribute to the exploration and implementation of innovative ideas and initiatives.

 

Skills and qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

 

Strong passion for technology and eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

 

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

 

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

 

Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

 

Flexibility and adaptability to switch roles and responsibilities within the technology team.

 

Strong organizational and time management skills.

 

Familiarity with a range of technology functions, such as systems administration, help desk support, software development, data analysis, or project coordination.

 

Proficiency in relevant programming languages, databases, or software tools is a plus.
