KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Demand Planning – preparation of the category procurement plan, executing category plans to meet category objectives.
Market analysis and insights generation – carry out market analysis for the category assigned.
End to end management process of the category requests for proposals, quotations and information as per the agreed turnaround timelines.
Negotiation with suppliers to obtain the best value for the Bank through preparations, communications and strategic engagements.
Contract Management – collaborate with the Legal Division, end users and vendors on contract lifecycle management to support the Bank’s goals and mitigate against risks. Manage the process of renewal or termination of contracts on a timely basis.
Stakeholder Management – identify all the relevant stakeholders both internally and externally and develop clear communication and engagement channels to manage risks and to successfully deliver on projects in alignment with the Bank’s objectives.
Supplier Relationship Management – Manage key relationships of the assigned category, conduct regular supplier performance reviews to drive optimal performance.
Drive collaboration - Managing team performance to deliver value for the Bank.
Academic & Professional
Education Bachelor’s Degree Business, Social Science or Applied Sciences RQ
Professional Qualifications Member, Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) RQ
Valid practising license from Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) RQ
MCIPS or equivalent AA
Postgraduate/master’s degree Business AA
