Duties
Reports to the farm manager and directors on all activities associated with the ICT department.
Analyzing designing and maintaining appropriate security system analyzing and planning fault tolerance, backup and disaster recovery measures
Managing and maintain of user profiles on the intranet mailing system and application software
Website design: Coordinating, developing and overseeing the upgrading of company website
User support: trouble shooting and providing technical knowledge on existing and future issues that might occur.
Overseeing maintenance, upgrades and repairs of ICT equipment.
Providing and advising on appropriate information and guidance on emerging and best practices in ICT
Developing and motivating an innovative and inspired ICT team(ERP users) and re-evaluating their skills and output to ensure delivery of results
Network maintain ace, monitoring and ensuring its availability within the farm
Develop maintain and control the ICT budget
Responsible for data security and disaster management of all the computers
Recommending and advising the company on the appropriate ICT service suppliers
Ensure timely delivery of ICT services from suppliers and follow up there payment
Ensuring availabity of all accessories that are critical to the use of the ERP.(toners, correct stickers)
Training and innovation: ERP trainings on procedures polices of best use of the ERP. Bring new ideas that are beneficial to the company and train users on its best use.
Cabling and network installation, including CCTVs
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science.
Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are an added advantage.
Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in ICT management, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
Proven track record of managing ICT projects and multi-site ICT infrastructure
