Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver structured lessons and practical sessions in caregiving, based on an approved curriculum.
- Mentor, guide, and assess learners to ensure competence in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
- Prepare and update training materials, lesson plans, and assessments tailored to learner needs.
- Monitor and evaluate learners’ progress, providing regular feedback and support for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and assessment results.
- Provide a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and growth.
- Collaborate with the training institution’s administration and other trainers to enhance program delivery.
- Stay current with trends, best practices, and new developments in caregiving and adult education.
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, or community health talks when required.
- Promote professionalism, empathy, and ethical caregiving practices among students.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Caregiving, Nursing, Community Health, or a related healthcare field
- Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or practical caregiving
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
- A passion for training, mentoring, and helping others succeed
- Ability to design and deliver engaging training content
- Knowledge of assessment methods and tools for vocational training
Salary: Kshs. 25,000
