Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Content Strategy & Creation
Develop content calendars aligned with business goals and seasonal campaigns
Create compelling content that supports SEO objectives and drives organic traffic to online stores and websites
Develop and write high-quality web content including blog posts, landing pages, and website copy
Liaise with other departments to stay updated on new product developments and to ensure brand consistency
Monitor website analytics and provide actionable insights for improvement
Social Media Management
Work with designers to create original, compelling content for Meta, LinkedIn and Twitter that drives engagement and lead generation
Develop and execute social media content calendars with consistent, brand-aligned messaging
Produce engaging social media content that converts followers into customers
Engage with followers, respond to comments, and build community relationships
Monitor social media metrics and provide regular performance reports
Actively source, evaluate, pitch, and negotiate strong partnerships with influencers
Own social analytics including weekly, monthly & quarterly reporting, ensuring influencer KPIs are met.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Conduct content audits to identify gaps, opportunities, and areas for optimization
Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis
Optimize on-page and off page SEO elements
Apply SEO standards to all digital content – keywords, meta descriptions, formatting, internal linking, etc
Build high-quality backlink strategies and manage local SEO initiatives
Monitor search engine algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly
Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
Minimum 3+ years of experience in content marketing; retail & ecommerce experience a plus
Analytics proficiency with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Meta Business Suite.
Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and execute detailed, efficient, effective and innovative content marketing campaigns
Strong understanding of how to use social media channels to meet objectives
Ability to distill data and metrics into actionable insights that support clear recommendations
Good understanding of influencer marketing
Detail-oriented and adhere to tight deadlines. Must be able to juggle multiple projects with changing market conditions
Must possess strong interpersonal, presentation, writing and storytelling skills
