The Go To Market Manager (GTM Manager) is responsible for creating and executing the LG in store communication, display, and merchandising strategy at retail to achieve defined business objectives established by the Marketing Department. The GTM Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper development, execution and benchmarking of all programs designed to increase brand visibility with the point of sale and ultimately product sell through.
Role & Responsibilities
In conjunction with the Brand Managers, Product Managers and Sales leaders, identifies, helps to develop, and implement the in-store strategy for LG products fixtures and POP
Ensure alignment across the Sales. Product Management and Marketing organizations on in store needs
Prepare in store status and roll out reports both internally and with LG RHQ & HQ in Korea
Effectively manage GTM budgets and approve vendor payment requests
Work closely with key customers to sell in concepts, and negotiate premium positioning in store
Work with Digital Marketing Team members to collaboratively create consistency between the in-store experience and the online experience
Create and execute content that is engaging, unique, and consistent with brand guidelines and product messaging
Leverage shopper and consumer insights when developing displays, POP, and messaging
Brief agency partners on projects and effectively manage relationships, agency performance and cost effectiveness
Become an LG product and East African industry expert and advocate
Co-ordinate with Field Sales Team
Strategic capabilities demonstrated through contributions to the company vision and brand; a history of setting goals and delivering results
Superior project management skills along with knowledge of project management software
History of presenting fresh perspective to existing industries and products.
Strong management capabilities demonstrated through the implementation of company-wide initiatives and implementations within project timelines and budget.
Superior language skills in making effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to senior management.
The ability to professionally grow into broader responsibilities
Strong relationship management skills, both internal and external, including the ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
Ability to manage multiple / complex projects concurrently a must
Qualification & Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or other relevant discipline
Minimum of 3-5 years of merchandising/marketing or trade marketing experience with demonstrated record of positive business results
Prior experience managing and energizing a broad range of in store activations
