Job Description

Security Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and safety of an organization's assets, information, and personnel. They serve as the bridge between the organization's security team and other departments, ensuring security policies and procedures are communicated effectively and integrated into the organization's operations.

Main accountabilities of the Security Co-ordinator will include: -

  • Court Case Management:
  • Maintaining accurate records of all ongoing cases.
  • Coordinating with legal counsel to ensure timely updates and follow-ups.
  • Attending court sessions when necessary to provide support and documentation.
  • Land Encroachment Management:
  • Investigating and document cases of land encroachment.
  • Collaborating with relevant authorities to address encroachment issues.
  • Developing strategies to prevent future incidents of encroachment.
  • Security task Coordination:
  • Liaising with law enforcement agencies for smooth coordination during arrests.
  • Ensuring all legal protocols are followed during the arrest process.
  • Providing logistical support and necessary documentation for related activities.
  • Security Service Provider Oversight:
  • Monitoring the performance of the contracted security service provider.
  • Conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Addressing any performance gaps or concerns promptly.
  • Daily Operations Support:
  • Assisting in planning and implementing security strategies.
  • Managing communication between various stakeholders, including internal departments and external agencies.
  • Contributing to incident reporting and conducting risk assessments.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and industry-specific security standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of security activities, audits, and incident investigations.
  • Reporting to Management: Provide regular updates on the security status and recommend improvements.
  • Enhancing Service Delivery:
  • Identifying and implement improvements in security operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Providing regular updates to the department head on progress and challenges.
  • Must be able to Work with departmental leadership to engage additional staff assistance as needed for the betterment of security.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidates should meet the following requirements: -
  • Diploma in Security Course.
  • Previous experience as a police Officer, Military Police Officer.
  • Must be computer literate and adaptive to technology
  • 3-5 years’ experience in security related work.
