Job Description
Purpose
- To ensure accurate stock management at the branch by overseeing inventory movements, reconciling stock variances, and maintaining financial controls to minimize losses and optimize profitability.
Responsibilities
- Cash Management - Daily reconciliations, banking, and spot-checks on branch floats.
- Inventory Control - Receive, issue, and count stock; ensure FIFO; update bin cards.
- Stock Reporting - Investigate variances, update reports, and maintain GP targets.
- Compliance - Ensure price accuracy, supplier invoice checks, & stock policy adherence.
- Training - Support new stock controllers and team members.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in stock control or inventory management. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
