Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant’s menu.
- Ensure all meals are presented attractively and meet customer expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate supply needs to the supervisor.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Assist in creating new menu items and improving existing recipes.
Minimum Requirements & Responsibility
- Proven experience as a cook in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
